Fence repair

Leaning or rotted posts reset or replaced, broken pickets swapped, rails re-secured.

Gate building and repair

Sagging gates rebuilt square with proper bracing and hardware that lasts.

For acreage properties out toward Elgin and Taylor.

What Affects the Price

Every job is quoted free and in writing before we start. These are the things that move the number.

  • Linear feet — the single biggest factor.
  • Height. Eight-foot costs meaningfully more than six.
  • Post type. Steel posts cost more up front and outlast wood posts by years in Central Texas clay.
  • Terrain. Slope, rock and tree roots slow post setting down.
  • Tear-out and haul-off of the existing fence.
  • Number and size of gates.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a cedar fence last around here?

Around 10 to 15 years for the pickets. Posts are what usually fail first, which is why the post material matters more than the pickets.

Should I use wood posts or steel posts?

Steel costs more up front and is almost always worth it here. Central Texas clay swells and shrinks with the seasons and wood posts rot at the ground line.

Can you repair my fence instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. If the posts are sound and only pickets or rails have gone, a repair is a fraction of the cost. We will tell you honestly which one you need.

Who handles utility locates?

We call 811 before we dig. That is on us, not you.

Do I need HOA approval?

If you are in an HOA subdivision, usually yes, and it is worth checking height and style rules before we start.

Do you haul away the old fence?

Yes, removal and disposal are included in the quote unless you ask to keep the material.
