Fences & Gates
Most of our fence work starts the same way: posts that have rotted at the ground line and a gate that no longer closes. On these jobs we tore out the old runs, reset the posts, and rebuilt with cedar pickets and properly braced gates. Tear-out and haul-off were included, so nobody was left with a pile of old boards. Decks & Pergolas
Shade and usable outdoor space is the most requested upgrade we get. These four are separate jobs: a cedar pergola set over an existing concrete patio, a stained deck with a pergola above it, a large deck with metal railing, and a covered patio with a ceiling fan and new railing. Concrete
This back-yard patio started as bare grass. We formed and edged the slab, poured it, and finished it flat and level so water runs off instead of pooling against the house. The third photo shows a workshop building sitting on a slab we poured for it. Concrete has to be sized and reinforced for Central Texas clay or it cracks within a couple of seasons. Bathrooms & Tile
Bathroom work is where tile setting shows. These jobs included a hexagon marble shower, a full marble walk-in with a built-in niche, a white subway tile shower with a bench, and a custom cabinet built to fit above the toilet. Custom Carpentry, Shelving & Railings
Built-ins get made to the room rather than bought to fit it. Here we ran floating shelves across a feature wall, and rebuilt a staircase with new wood treads and a cable railing that opens the stairwell up. Siding & Exterior
Rot around the base of a wall usually means water has been getting behind the siding for a while. On this job we pulled the failed boards, dried and repaired the sheathing behind them, then ran new cedar siding and trimmed it out. We do the same work on fascia, soffit and window trim. Doors, Floors & Interior Repairs
A door that will not latch is usually the slab moving, not the door. We rehang and plane where we can and replace the unit when it is past saving, then re-case and trim so the repair disappears. The last two show a tile floor going in and the finished result. Browse our handyman repair services.
